🌿 From nature to the self, from the self to togetherness, and from togetherness to caring for others.
The Permanent Laboratory of Relational Spirituality, held in Castell'Umberto on 12–13 September, began with a connection to nature 🌱, not as a mere backdrop to our existence but as part of the web of relationships to which we also belong.
From there, our journey led us to rediscover the SELF 🌟: who we are, how we inhabit the world, the relationships that shape us, our vulnerabilities and our strengths.
We then explored TOGETHERNESS 🤝, not as the erasure of our differences but as a genuine encounter between people who can remain themselves and, precisely for that reason, build authentic relationships.
Finally, our journey led to CARING FOR OTHERS ❤️: opening ourselves to another person, their story and needs, to the community 🏘️ and the environment 🌍 we share.
Rather than offering final answers, this journey raised fresh questions 💭 and a shared conviction: to create an ongoing laboratory of relationships, a living space for listening 👂, dialogue 🗣️, growth 🌱 and care for others.
Above all, a human place ✨ where each person can be a glimmer of light 🕯️ to someone else through their presence, listening and care for the relationship.
Perhaps building community means precisely this: recognising that we belong to a greater web 🕸️ and learning, day after day, to be a presence, a neighbour and a light to one another. 💫 Francesco Mazzarella, Fr Mauro Gianlombardo and Thalassia Giaccone.
